Inhalt
This touching, yet funny play is set in modern-day Pennsylvania, not far from a place called Beertown. Single mom Miriam works as a waitress and paints pictures of the full moon in her spare time. She would like some male companionship, but, so far, her teenaged daughter Amanda has driven away anyone that might come between them, leaving Miriam torn between love for her daughter and happiness with a good man. Growing up as an only child has not been easy for Amanda, and now she has to deal with her mom’s new boyfriend, a local postman. At such critical times the precocious teenager always talks to her imaginary friend “Randolph”, who appears only to her and also delights in chasing away Miriam’s suitors. But this time, Amanda and “Randolph” may have met their match in this clever postman in shorts and knee socks. sylviapose
